On April 2, 2014, a contractor working at a vacant building located at 9999 W. Technology Boulevard observed an unfamiliar individual walk out of the rear of the business carrying property and then place it in the bed of his Ford truck.
A contractor approached this individual and asked him some basic questions before the suspect ended the conversation and fled in a hurry. Fortunately, the contractor was able to get the license plate and pass it on to the responding officers that work out of the Northwest Patrol Division. Officers went to the vehicle registration address and located the suspect. The contractor was able to identity two ladders belonging to the business fall out of the suspect’s truck when he quickly sped away from the scene of the crime.
